Rules & Regulations for Prevention and Prohibition of Ragging The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi vide its Notification no. 87-3 / Legal / AICTE / 2009 dated 25-03-2009 has taken a very serious view of ragging incidences in the educational institution and on Directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India vide its Order dated 16.5.2007 has ordered strict implementation of following rules & regulations for Prevention and prohibition of Ragging in technical Institutions and as such these rules and regulations are also applicable in the case of this Institution with immediate effect.
In view of the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP No. 24295 of 2006 dated 18 03-2007 and in Civil Appeal number 887 of 8009, dated 08-08-2009 Lo prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging. the institute has constituted various committee and squad which takes Care about any issue related to ragging and strict disciplinary action is taken against the person who is found to be indulged in the act of ragging.
