About The College
"Millia Polytechnic was established in 2008 by Millia Educational Trust, Purnea. This is first self-financed minority engineering Institute in north-eastern region of Bihar imparting three-year Diploma courses in Engineering. The institute spread over 5 acres of land is located in Rambagh, Purnea. The institute runs in well-furnished building of architectural splendor, housing classrooms, seminar halls, drawing halls, conference room, library, computer center, well equipped laboratories, workshop and an administrative block."

MESSAGES FOR THE STUDENTS
It all began in 1976 when I was practicing as a successful Homoeopathic Doctor in Purnea. I had been rendering my medical services to the wailing, moaning, destitute, poor and ailing people of Purnea, which is still considered as economically, socially and educationally backward region of Bihar. Based on my learning and understanding of the locality and the people around, made my belief that the chain of issues in this area and society at large has direct or indirect connection with illiteracy and ignorance
Technology is touching every aspect of our life and the society we live in. Since Independence, the technical education system in our country has grown into a fairly large-sized system, offering opportunities for education and training in a wide variety of trades and disciplines at a certificate, diploma, degree and many other levels in institutions located throughout the country. Technical education contributes a major share to the overall education system and plays a vital role in the social and economic development of our nation.
Let me begin with congratulating the students for considering Milli Polytechnic, Purnea Bihar, as a destination of your Diploma Engineering education. Millia Polytechnic, Rambagh is the first in Purnea and oldest private engineering college in Bihar. Millia Polytechnic, Purnea has completed 12 successful years of journey, we started this institution in year 2008.
